Job Description

PreBilling Data Specialist

TELCOR is a nationally recognized provider of healthcare software and billing service and we are looking for an energetic team player who has an eye for attention to detail to join our Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) team as a PreBilling Data Specialist.

PreBilling Data Specialists are responsible for the data entry of demographic and other requisition information for special projects. Responsibilities include looking up patient records keying in corresponding requisition and patient demographic and insurance data performing benefits eligibility checks and reviewing benefit eligibility failures with efficiency and accuracy to allow for appropriate data processing and clean claims submission. Additional responsibilities may include handling calls from patients of customers where applicable. What are we looking for in candidates The candidate we hire will be trustworthy and able to uphold confidentiality. They will have good communication skills both verbally and in writing. PreBilling Data Specialists must have strong attention to detail and skills that allow for quick and efficient navigationof data entry procedures while utilizing computerbased technology platforms. In other words you must be very computer literate and have experience with Windows operation system environments and Microsoft Office tools; e.g. Word Excel.
