Job Description

Join our Digital Communications Team on a 12 month fixedterm parental leave contract creating engaging digital content for our social media channels. If youre a skilled communicator with a flair for creative online storytelling and a passion for climate action wed love to hear from you.

About the role:

The Climate Council is looking for a skilled Digital Content Producer to join our team on a 12 month fixedterm contract. In this role youll collaborate with our expert researchers and climate communicators to come up with create and publish engaging digital content that helps us create the massive societywide change needed to end climate pollution and keep our kids safe.

Were seeking a creative and adaptable social media expert who stays ahead of digital trends and can craft compelling content across multiple online platforms.

We are open to candidates looking at both fulltime 1.0 FTE) and parttime 0.8FTE or 0.9FTE) opportunities who is based in Sydney or Melbourne.

As a Digital Content Producer at the Climate Council you will:

  • Have at least two years experience producing digital or social media communications.
  • Have strong knowledge of Australias climate and energy sectors or prior experience in climate communications (desirable).
  • Be a collaborative team player ready to step in and contribute towards creating impactful digital content.
  • Have strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and create quick reactive digital content as needed.
  • Be proficient in digital production tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
