Job Description

Ware Public Schools is seeking a reliable and adaptable BuildingBased Substitute Teacher to provide consistent support to students and staff. This fulltime role ensures coverage across grade levels and subject areas fostering a positive learning environment in the absence of regular teachers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver preplanned lessons or create instructional activities aligned with the curriculum when necessary. Maintain classroom management and ensure student engagement during instructional time. Support daily operations including assisting with supervision during transitions lunch or recess. Adapt to various grade levels and subjects providing flexibility and a willingness to learn. Communicate effectively with staff students and parents regarding daily activities or concerns. Uphold school policies procedures and safety standards.QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree or Bachelors degree preferred (educationrelated field preferred). Previous teaching or classroom experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks.WORK SCHEDULE:Monday Friday 7:502:35 based at Ware Junior Senior High School
