Job Description
SpeechLanguage PathologistSchoolBased Travel Contract
Location: Federal Way WA 98003
Duration: 42 Weeks Travel & Local Candidates Welcome
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours weekly
- Weekly Compensation: $2063 $2175
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with speech language voice and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidencebased practice.
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills cognitivelinguistic abilities and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for ongoing care or therapy.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP License for the state of Washington (WA).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CCCSLP).
- CPR/BLS Certification (Required).
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting (e.g. hospital SNF outpatient).
