Position Purpose:

Responsible for taking all actions necessary to secure and maintain a market share in assigned sales territory through proper planning adequate territorial coverage and effective sales presentations through administrative and other assigned duties.

Essential Functions:

  • Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission One Team One Plan One Goal
  • Obtains and develops new business opportunities focusing on Spanishspeaking customers to promote and sell heavy equipment across all product lines
  • Acts as a liaison between KirbySmith Machinery Inc. and Spanishspeaking customers in all aspects of sales service and parts ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction
  • Follows up to ensure all aspects of sales rentals and service transactions are completed accurately and on time
  • Provides accurate and timely equipment quotations outlining key features benefits and financing options when applicable
  • Assists customers by quoting field parts orders and coordinating with the service department to provide competitive quotes for maintenance and repair work
  • Achieves and maintains an excellent understanding of heavy equipment financing programs parts and services through training and selfstudy
  • Studies and maintains knowledge of competitors machines financing options and marketing programs
  • Serves as a key point of contact for Spanishspeaking customers facilitating clear communication across sales service and parts departments
  • Collaborates with internal teams including service parts and finance to address customer needs efficiently providing translation support as needed
  • Identifies profiles and develops the customer base within the assigned territory expanding business opportunities and ensuring continued growth
  • Utilizes company CRM tools to document customer interactions track sales activities and provide accurate reporting for management
  • Delivers exceptional customer service throughout the sales and postsales process ensuring longterm business relationships
  • Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
  • Ensures consistent and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Education or Equivalent with postsecondary education preferred
  • Three 3 years of construction equipment sales experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and adapts quickly to changing priorities and customer needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and various webbased applications

Territory ManagerIndustrial Physical Requirements

  • Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Physical ability to squat twist turn bend stoop climb and reach overhead
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold andwet damp dusty or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises hazardous materials and fumes/odors
  • Physical ability to perform workfor extended hours
  • Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE
