Job Description
JOB TITLE: FacilitiesMaintenance Days 1O shift)
WAGE RANGE: $19.00 per hour
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Forrester Rd.
JOB GRADE: 18
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor
Job summary:
This position entails maintenance and repairs of buildings grounds and the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equal
- Proficient in the use of common hand tools and handheld power tools and their safe operation while following OSHA and company safety guidelines
- Ability to safely operate repair and maintain machinery
- Basic knowledge of 480v 230v and 120v electrical components
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
- Ability to work 20 ft. off the ground from a ladder forklift cage or lift platform
- Ability to work in confined spaces (with appropriate safety equipment)
- Ability to shovel snow for 15 minutes at a time
- Ability to carry 50 lbs. for 50 ft.
- Ability to carry set up and climb a 30 extension ladder
- 2020 vision (may use corrective lenses) ability to see all primary colors
Job Duties: Essential Functions
- Fill propane tanks
- Dump garbage methyl & fruit waste; pick up trash on grounds
- Perform PMs on specified equipment as assigned
- Perform building repairs and maintenance as needed
- Repair machinery / replace pump seals
- Load juice tar into dumpster
- Pump juice from dewatering box
- Well head inspection
- Grade driveway
- Maintain WWTP lagoons
- Operate forklifts tractors and light machinery
- Keep work areas neat and clean
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and rules
