Job Title: Truck Driver West Palm Beach FL
Job Summary:
Operating trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations. Truck Drivers must have CDLs and understand the daily processes of operating and maintaining this type of heavy equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily preoperational inspection of assigned vehicles and fill out necessary log/check sheets.
- Maintain proper fluid levels (fuel lubricants grease oil coolant) for operation of equipment.
- Operate trucks in a safe manner in compliance with laws and company PPE requirements.
- Operate trucks to transport materials (ash & metals) to the landfill area or other locale as designated.
- Assure that trucks are properly loaded and secured to prevent spillage cleaned and tarped prior to exiting the ash management building.
- Complete all necessary trip tickets log sheets and daily reports.
Qualifications:
Must have CDLs.
Must have 3 years in using heavy machinery to transport materials.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other jobrelated noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
