Job Description

Synterex Inc. is a global consortium of highly experienced clinical development professionals specializing in medical writing submission publishing and clinical science and operations support. Synterex offers remote or onsite services with a focus on providing clear concise accurate and fully compliant documentation from early drug development through postapproval.


Synterex is seeking an organized motivated and collaborative individual to join our Human Resources (HR) team working directly with the CEO and other Executive Leadership team members. The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting a broad range of HR activities including recruitment employee onboarding managing HR information systems (HRIS) tracking employee trainings and ensuring compliance with company policies and federal state and local employment laws. This role will also include administering background checks and supporting performance management and employee relations initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage fullcycle recruitment including job postings candidate sourcing interviewing and extending offers.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding ensuring completion of all required documentation and delivering a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Maintain employee data in the HRIS system ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Track and manage employee training ensuring all required trainings are completed and properly documented.
  • Administer background checks for all new hires ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies benefits and procedures.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs including enrollments changes and terminations.
  • Assist in the performance management process by supporting performance evaluations and providing guidance to managers on employee performance matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws updating policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Contribute to HRrelated projects aimed at improving employee engagement and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • 57 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
