Responsibilities
- Receive and review applications for Letters of Credit and ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Process Import Bills for Collection ensuring completeness and compliance with banking procedures.
- Handle outward telegraphic transfers verifying documents ensuring fund availability and coordinating with EXCON and the dealing room for exchange rate booking.
- Process foreign nondocumentary transactions (TTI) verifying banking details obtaining approvals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Address customer complaints resolve inquiries and provide timely feedback to clients.
- Monitor emails update reports and track payments to ensure smooth international transactions.
- Assist internal departments with banking inquiries and provide necessary feedback on audit findings.
- Ensure all transactions comply with Shariah regulations and international banking standards.
- Participate in departmental projects and process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Matric qualification is essential.
- A diploma or recognized certificate in International Trade is advantageous.
- 2 to 5 years of general banking experience with exposure to accounting and international trade finance.
- Strong knowledge of international banking practices exchange control regulations and crossborder payments.
- Ability to work under pressure and ensure timely processing of transactions.
- Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills.
