Position
We are looking for a Production Scheduler who will take ownership of developing a daily and weekly production plan ensure our finished goods inventory is at an effective level and execute daily ordering of the necessary raw materials to support 100 ontime delivery to our customers.
- Provide the manufacturing team with daily and weekly production plans
- Take ownership of finished goods including monitoring appropriate levels cycle counting and annual physical inventory counts
- Purchase necessary inventory based on customer needs
- Develop and/or strengthen relationships with key vendors
- Track metrics and report on KPIs
- Collaborate with the management team to meet company goals
- Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives related to production planning and other processes
- Support CI and Operations teams to build standard work processes
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement waste removal and cost reduction
- Minimum of two years in production planning scheduling and/or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering or Business Management preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to use analytical tools (Excel MiniTab etc.
- Ability to influence crossfunctional teams
- A detailed and analytical mindset with a constant focus to drive improvement
- Strong Project Management skills
- Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) a plus
