We are seeking an experienced and energetic Automotive Service Manager to lead our team of skilled technicians and service advisors. In this pivotal role you will be the driving force behind our service department ensuring smooth operations exceptional Guest experiences and consistent business growth.

Without you were just another service center. With you were the providers of our Guests automotive dreams ensuring their vehicles are always ready for the next adventure.

Heres what youll be doing

  • Direct and control daily operations
  • Evaluate daily operations
  • Plan and organize daily operations
  • Manage staff and assign duties
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand potential sales volumesand effect of competitors operations on sales
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • Implement price and credits policies
  • Locate select and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Determine staffing requirements
  • Resolve issues that may arise including customer requests complaints and supply shortages
  • Recruit hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Oversee payroll administration
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff

You need these qualifications

Education & Experience

  • A postsecondary diploma or degree in Automotive Technology Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of1 year of experience in automotive service.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
  • Technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
  • Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications

  • Valid Ontario Class G Drivers License.

If would be nice if you have

  • Experience with Genesis systems.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent.
  • 310S certification.
  • At least 2 years expereience in a managerial role.
