Salary Range: $60000 $65000 depending on experience.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on relevant experience & geographic location.
What the Role Is
The Procurement Specialist performs various aspects of purchasing for the company and is responsible for managing the inventory distribution and control of those items for all Super Star locations. This position will ensure every location has the products materials equipment and supplies necessary to operate efficiently and adjust for seasonal trends. The Procurement Specialist will maintain vendor reports evaluate and escalate issues appropriately assist in the preparation of all data reports from our purchasing system and resolve internal and external purchasing issues that arise. This position will help identify and implement systems tools and processes to help us to grow our Procurement Department to implement automation and streamlined processes. This position reports to the Procurement Manager.
What Youll Be Doing
(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Evaluate all purchase orders to ensure order accuracy
- Manage and monitor weekly inventory levels for assigned sites
- Manage material flow to ensure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support multiple locations
- Maintain and track all receipts from multiple locations
- Implement process and procedural improvements to streamline work and increase productivity
- Evaluate and improve procurement strategies (decrease cost time or waste)
- Set up and maintain accuracy of all vendor data and records in the inventory system
- Develop vendor relationships
- Negotiate and execute purchase orders and vendor contracts
- Report to management about vendor/supplier relationships and performance
- Adhere to purchasing policies and ensure that all purchases adhere to policy
- Design develop and implement all purchasing and inventory processes
- Analyze inventory and logistics patterns and trends and ultimately act upon that analysis to manage inventory and supply sources to support anticipated demand
- Work with warehouse and operations for effective inventory counts
- Track the transportation and distribution of inventory when needed
- Manage warehouse inventory controls
- Other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED bachelors degree or similar experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of purchasing and procurement procedures
- Basic knowledge of business principles processes and office protocol
- Experience with purchasing and inventory control management
- Knowledge of inventory control software
- Evaluating and improving procurement strategies (decrease cost time or waste).
- Strong organizational skills ability to multitask and ability to exercise independent judgment
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Business Central/NAV preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Familiarity with GAAP
