We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced fulltime Pediatrician to play a leadership role in a brand new 10 bed LDRP LevelI Nursery at CaroMont Regional Medical CenterBelmont which is scheduled to open beginningof 2025

About the Practice

• This Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year
• An average daily census of about 5 newborns
• Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns attending deliveries when requested and will take call from home
• Practitioners would also stabilize manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care

The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitlaist with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 56 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center Gastonia which is only 7 miles away
