Job Description
Our client a worldleader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for a ProductionEngineer based out of Marana AZ.
Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Applies intensive anddiversified knowledge of design principles practices and implementation incomplex systems and assignments. Design concept generation participating indesign reviews development and testing to assess performance against designspecification; reliability testing and assessment of system interactions.Makes independent decisions. Assist in the development of manufacturingprocesses and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possibleengineering solutions.
- Consistently usescompany concepts policies and procedures familiar with and follows standardpractices.
- Projects are assignedwith defined scope and goals.
- Direction is providedby more senior engineering staff management or project leader.
- Participates in effortsto define new components products or processes and identify technicalchallenges.
- Makes suggestions toimprove work processes.
- Creates potentiallypatentable components for systems or processes.
- Plans and executesassigned projects; utilizes thorough technical and theoretical understanding ofnumerous techniques.
- Analyzes dataevaluates results forms conclusions and provides/implements process ordocument improvements.
- Applies advancedengineering knowledge to projects.
- Executes experiments;participates in experimental design.
- Utilizes DOE whereappropriate.
- Participates in projectplanning process updates and contributes to experimental design.
- Prepares and deliverspresentations of project results to own or other groups
Qualifications
- BS degree in a directlyrelated discipline.
- Requires a minimum of 4years of related experience
- Strong understanding ofengineering principles and concepts.
- Strong mechanicalproblem solving skills
- Handsonability/experience with electromechanical and smallscale fluidic/pneumaticsystems
- RootCause Analysis andtroubleshooting skills and experience
- Excellent designskills ability to develop simple solutions with minimum impact to existingdesign
