Location: Wallasey/Moreton area
Status: Permanent
Hours: 37.5
Rate of pay: 14.30 per hour
(job subject to 6month internal probationary period).
Team Leader
We are looking to recruit a dynamic Team Leader to support staff and people we support across four small services in Wallasey and Moreton. These services provide support for between 1 to 4 individuals with autism. Our people enjoy days out at our Day Services but also enjoy being active members of their communities and attending activities such as going to the cinema attending church eating out and shopping. Our care staff are friendly motivated and open to improve
The postholder will assist the Operational Service Manager to provide sound leadership and day to day running of the staff teams to deliver a person centric service and deliver innovative strategies to meet the needs of our People. The role involves first Line Leadership to our care heroes to achieve lifelong careers with the Charity.

The successful candidate will be able to find solutions to ensure care is placed at the very heart of our services delivery to the people we support ensuring we maintain our strong reputational values meeting regulatory compliance.
What you will be doing
- To ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to the people
- To lead a team of support workers to establish and maintain a high standard of care practice within the Residential Services.
- Ensure an effective responsive caring and safe service for the individuals we support.
- Actively promote an autismspecific culture through effective work practices and identify any additional support needs
- To ensure accurate records and reporting systems

Hours of workTypically 2week rota early and lates
The postholder will be expected to provide management cover across a 7day period covering weekends and this will form part of your normal contracted hours.
