Friendly Acura of Middletown is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing and managing the sales department while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and management.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the sales team
  • Set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Monitor sales performance and provide training and support to team members
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive sales and management
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Job Summary

The Sales Manager at Friendly Acura of Middletown will work in a collaborative environment with the dealerships management team to maximize sales by selling cars promoting dealership services and maintaining customer relationships. They will display a positive attitude and professional demeanor while utilizing strong sales techniques to ensure they meet and exceed sales goals set by the dealership.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and assess their needs in order to identify and sell the vehicle solution that best suits them
Demonstrate a complete knowledge of the vehicles features and ability to discuss advantages of each model
Show professionalism and empathy when following up and maintaining contact
Monitor sales performance and maintain customer relations
Document data and maintain files daily
Adhere to uniformly established sales pricing and customer service policies
Stay informed on all inventory and development of products
Provide leadership and support in the sales department

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Automotive sales experience with proven results in a dealership setting
Ability to establish relationships with customers and build rapport
Strong organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of dealership and industry policies
Valid drivers license and automobile insurance
