The Opportunity
Warringal Private Hospital is seeking Cleaners/Housekeepers to join our diverse team of around 30 staff! Exciting opportunity within an everexpanding hospital currently under development in the heart of Heidelberg and near train and bus services.
We have opportunities for Housekeepers to join us on a casual basis across the following shift types: morning / evenings / afternoons and weekend rotating roster. Positions to fit in with school hours available.
About the role
Joining our team as a Housekeeper you will be responsible for:
- Highest standards of cleanliness to all areas including wards and operating theatres.
- Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
- Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
- Adhere to all infection control guidelines and principles.
About You
- Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable
- Availability to work morning / afternoon / evening and weekend shifts required
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Proven experience with hazard identification
- Understanding of hygiene principles.
Overall you will demonstrate a strong work ethic characterized by punctuality integrity respect for others and a dedication to professional practice.
Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $26.64 20 casual loading superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
