Position Overview:
Courtesy Chevrolet a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership is seeking a friendly customerfocused individual to join our team as a Cafe Associate. In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and respectfully addressing any inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently utilizing our pointofsale system.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee tea smoothies and specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches pastries and salads ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area including counters equipment and seating areas.
- Restock supplies as needed including food items cups lids and condiments.
- Follow all health and safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties including cash handling and cleaning tasks.
- Continuously strive to enhance the customer experience by providing personalized service and anticipating needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making changes.
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a peremployment drug screen and background check.
