Internship Title:Financial Grant Specialist Intern

Description:
Are you passionate about funding innovation and supporting projects that drive change EX Venture Academy is seeking a motivated and detailoriented Financial Grant Specialist Intern to join our team. This internship will allow you to work closely with our leadership team to identify and secure funding opportunities contribute to grant writing and reporting and help ensure our projects are financially supported. If youre looking for an exciting opportunity to gain handson experience in the world of grant management this is the perfect role for you. The internship is unpaid and will run from June for 4 to 6 months with potential for future opportunities based on performance.
What Youll Do:
Research and identify relevant funding opportunities including grants sponsorships and government programs.
Assist in drafting and submitting compelling grant proposals and applications to secure financial support.
Track and manage grant budgets ensuring alignment with financial goals and project requirements.
Prepare financial reports progress updates and ensure compliance with funding regulations and timelines.
Collaborate with the leadership team to strategize and identify funding opportunities for upcoming projects.
Help ensure smooth communication between funding agencies and internal teams for financial reporting and audits.
What Were Looking For:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Finance Business Administration Economics or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with financial data budgets and spreadsheets.
Excellent written communication skills with experience in drafting proposals or reports (grant writing experience is a plus).
Familiarity with funding processes financial regulations and grant management tools.
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a bonus.
