Introduction
Business Product Line Manager Radar Systems
Location:Cape Town Western Cape Retreat.
A global hightech pioneer for defence and security electronics is keen to appoint a Business Product Line Manager Radar Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Business Product Line Manager Radar Systems is an experienced and strategic Head of IFF and Datalinks to lead manage and develop the overall performance of our business areas current and future product portfolio.
As the Business Product Line Manager Radar Systems one will be responsible for setting the strategic direction overseeing operational management and ensuring financial and budgetary accountability while driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- IFF & Datalink strategy and operational management.
- Financial and budgetary accountability.
- Client management and relationships.
- Product roadmap development.
- People management.
- Business development support.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Essential experience and qualifications required:
- A Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Electronic Mechatronics or Computer Engineering advantage.
- A completed Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Electronic Mechatronics or Computer Engineering is essential.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant general and technical management business development client relationship management and leadership experience.
- Must be experience in the Defence Aerospace Aviation industries or Radar Technology industry required.
- Ability to manage complexity and solve novel technical problems.
