Job Title: Reception Teacher
Location: Harrow Greater London
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience
Contract: Fulltime

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join our dedicated team in September 2025 and make a positive impact on our youngest learners.
Role Overview:
As a Reception Teacher you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our Reception children. You will plan deliver and assess lessons that support the development of key skills and promote early learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This role offers the chance to inspire and shape the educational journey of young children creating a strong foundation for their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons and activities that meet the developmental needs of Reception children
- Monitor assess and track childrens progress providing feedback to parents and colleagues
- Create a safe stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and exploration
- Work closely with colleagues including teaching assistants to support childrens learning and wellbeing
- Foster positive relationships with parents and carers maintaining strong homeschool links
- Support childrens social and emotional development ensuring their happiness and wellbeing at school
- Contribute to the wider life of the school including extracurricular activities and school events
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (EYTS will be considered)
- A passion for early years education and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience teaching in Reception (desirable but not essential)
- Creativity enthusiasm and a nurturing approach to teaching
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
