Job Description
- Tasked with performing upkeep and repairs on customer vehicles.
- Utilize the diagnostic tools to find automotive issues.
- Deliver excellent customer service while outlining automotive repairs and problems.
- Uses charts manuals and experience plan repair procedures.
- Test the components and systems functionality.
- Perform fundamental auto maintenance and care procedures like fluid level checks tire rotations and oil changes.
- Brake pads wheel bearings sensors and other components can be repaired and replaced.
- Conduct standard upkeep and general mechanical work on vehicles.
- Ready to acquire additional certification if necessary.
- willingness to learn through practical experience.
- Ensure that the repair shop is organized and clean.
- Maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Experience repairing cars and engines or auto mechanic education is required.
- Required are ASE certifications.
- Possess an active drivers license.
- Completed an associates degree program in auto repair and maintenance.
- Possess the ability to conduct oneself professionally and offer helpful customer service.
- To keep accurate records one must read interpret and transcribe data.
- Carry out regular upkeep and other tasks in a hurried setting.
- May lift up to 50 lb. of weight in objects.
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Lube technician experience or be willing to undergo onthejob training.
- Knowledge of car air conditioning systems.
- Possibility of using the diagnostic tools.
- Diesel engine knowledge heavy equipment experience diesel mechanic experience or the willingness to undergo onthejob training.
- Good handeye coordination.
