Job Description
1. Enrolled in college or completed college degree.
2. Interest in autism psychology or related professions preferred.
3. Ability to travel to and from college that the mentee attends.
4. Experience in Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred.
Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
Open to receiving feedback on interactional skills with families participants and staff.
Solid computer skills. MS Word required; knowledge of Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Access helpful.
Good basic math and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and be flexible.
Ability to exhibit a calm and empathetic demeanor.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Problemsolving skills.
Desire to help participants feel safe succeed and have fun!
Interested in exploring a career path in Education of the Health professions Looking for an exciting and rewarding parttime position Want to help a young adult college student with Aspergers syndrome and/or related challenges learn to navigate the college social scene If you do then consider working for Aspire.
