Description

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager (in Palm Springs and Indio locations) and Store Manager (in Cathedral City and Palm Desert locations) the Product Flow Coordinator (PFC) is responsible for performing tasks related to receiving donated merchandise and sorting it to its appropriate area for processing. In addition the PFC is responsible for stocking merchandise on the sales floor once it is processed.

Job Status: Parttime Hourly Nonexempt

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handles receipt of donated merchandise ensuring excellent customer service in the dropoff area.
  • Sorts donated merchandise by category for processing.
  • Stocks processed merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Loads and unloads Revivals donation trucks and assists with unloading deliveries of new products as needed.
  • Assists with store displays as needed.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the sales floor to include dusting sweeping and vacuuming as needed.
  • Identifies product needs on the sales floor and communicates to the Warehouse Manager or designee.
  • Greets customers when on the sales floor.
  • Interacts with customers by answering any questions they may have.
  • Assists with customer requests.
  • Cleans warehouse and restrooms as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic mathematical skills to include adding subtracting multiplying dividing and calculating percentages.
  • Ability to read write and communicate in English.
  • Flexibility in schedule. The ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal and teamoriented skills preferred.
  • Selfstarting selfmotivating mindset preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills attention to detail preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of warehouse or retail experience.
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience/knowledge of thrift store environment preferred.
