CMHA is looking to hire a IT Network/Cloud Administrator for our IT department. This position will be located at 233 Main Street New britain CT 06051. Monday Friday 8:30am4:30pm.
Compensation Range:$80000 minimum to $100000 maximum
Starting salary will be determined based on relevant years of experience. Position Summary: The IT Network/Cloud Administrator under the supervision of Information Technology Manager will oversee the daily operation of the network. Organize install and support the agencys computer systems network equipment and other data communication systems.
Responsibilities: - Assists with supporting HP network servers Cisco switches routers and firewalls. Troubleshoot network related hardware problems and upgrades.
- Monitors network performance test for weaknesses and troubleshoot outages.
- Ensure network security and connectivity for the network.
- Assists with user accounts passwords and network rights with Active Directory Group Policies and third party applications.
- Evaluate implement and support Cloud computing technologies.
- Support and troubleshoot issues with card access and camera security.
- Monitors virus protection and twofactor authentication.
- Create and maintains images for end user equipment to ensure compliance with CMHAs policies.
- Assists with hosted phone system configurations and functionality.
- Assist with disaster recovery planning and annual disaster recovery drill.
- Provides regular communication updates regarding system performance maintenance and other computerrelated issues. Recommends changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware and software requirements related to such changes.
- Assist with documenting configurations and maintaining network documentation and inventory.
- Provide end user support document and track problems in ticketing system.
- Support and assist with video conferencing
- Provides afterhours on call coverage as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Valid DMV License.
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related fieldor a diploma/trade certification from a Technical School is required . A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or similar CompTIA Network and CompTIA Security are a plus. Valid Connecticut drivers license.
- Successful experience or training in the following hardware and software: Switches Routers and Firewalls VMWare MS Server Exchange network support server administration EMR workstation hardware and software troubleshooting Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows preferably a minimum of two years.
- Experience working in a healthcare facility preferred.
