Ohio Farm Bureau Ohio State Fair Ambassador
Location: Ohio State Fairgrounds 717 E 17th Ave Columbus OH 43211
Employment Dates: July 17 August 4 2025
Hourly Pay: $14.50
The Ohio Farm Bureau is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ohio State Fair Ambassadors. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage with fairgoers at the Little Farmers exhibit an interactive educational display designed to teach attendees about farming and its importance.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend a oneday training session on July 17 2025.
Assist with setup and teardown of the Little Farmers exhibit.
Staff interactive displays and engage with visitors to promote Ohio agriculture.
Answer questions and educate the public about farming.
Represent the Ohio Farm Bureau and its mission at the exhibit.
Work collaboratively with OFBF interns and team members to ensure a successful experience for all attendees.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 16 years or older by the start of employment.
Available to work a minimum of 10 shifts during the fair.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with the public.
Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Must pass a background check.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in agriculture education or event management.
Work Schedule & Shifts:
Ohio State Fair: July 23 August 3 2025
Daily shift signups available:
Shift 1: 9:30 AM 2:30 PM
Shift 2: 1:30 PM 6:30 PM
Additional work dates for setup and cleanup:
Setup: July 18 & July 21
Cleanup: August 4
