Business Systems Analyst 6 month contract to start Remote Work/Downtown Toronto)
Our client in the Financial Services industry is looking for talented individuals to trail blaze with them in increasing their capacity to satisfy their growing client demand. If you thrive on innovative projects where you can influence the direction of technical strategy come and join their national practice.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Technical Team andbusiness to determine requirements and transform them into Systemspecifications.
- Work with our Process ExcellenceTeam to understand business process mapping for asis and tobe processes.
- Work with our Process ExcellenceTeam to specify changes to existing business processes and/or create newbusiness processes to meet specific customer requirements.
- Communicating with stakeholdersof varying technical ability and subject matter expertise.
- Work with the project team andbusiness stakeholders to translate between business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate process workshops togather business and functional requirements.
- Support business cases andproject proposals development.
- Follow up with action items frommeetings or risk/issue registers.
- Work with our QA and Testingteam to create execute and review Test Plans and Test Scenarios.
- Work with our QA and Testingteam to validate Test Results and analyze defects.
- Work with our L&D team toprepare and organize reviews and training sessions.
- Ability to analyze researchorganize and prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
- Coach new or less experiencedcolleagues and serve as a reference point throughout requirements.
Requirements
- Business Systems Analyst must have minimum 5 yearsexperience as a Business Systems Analyst within the IT industry.
- College or UniversityDegree or equivalent practical experience.
- The Business Systems Analyst must possess excellent written and verbalcommunication in English and be able to
clearly communicatewith business and technical stakeholders. - Excellent problemsolving andanalytical abilities.
- Experience with VisioPowerPoint Excel and Word.
- Business System Analyst should ideally have experience with Agile methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to supportmultiple projects concurrently balancing deliverables and ability toprioritize deliverables across projects.
- Excellent problemsolvingskills creativity and insight with the ability to resolve crisis situationswith clients.
- Strong interpersonal andbusiness presentation skills.
- Comfortable in front of atechnical or managerial audience.
Nice to Have Skills
- D365 experience.
- Experience with back officesystems used for accounts receivables and general ledger (Sage).
- Experience with solutions usedin the financial advisory and tax service business.
- Managing project using DevOps.
- Service Now experience.
- Product Owner or Scrum Masterexperience.
