We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing support to junior accountants assisting the Chief Accountant with VAT and SAFT reporting and handling more complex accounting tasks. This role requires a detailoriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support to junior accountants in their daily tasks.
Assist the Chief Accountant with VAT reporting WHT reporting and SAFT reporting.
Review and verify the trial balance (TB) monthly.
Book accruals and handle complex accounting entries.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
Participate in the monthend and yearend closing processes.
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite knowledge of SUN is a plus
Proficiency in English language
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
