Business Development Representative Commercial Real Estate Insurance (REMOTE)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsdriven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities generating leads and nurturing relationships within the commercial real estate insurance sector. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to expand our client base qualify leads and help drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the commercial real estate market. Use various tools (cold calling email outreach social media industry events etc. to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline.

  • Market Research:
    Conduct research on target markets and prospective clients to understand their needs pain points and goals. Stay up to date on market trends and developments within the commercial real estate sector to position our offerings effectively.

  • Sales Outreach & Qualification:
    Initiate contact with potential clients qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team members. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the companys services to prospects and qualify their interest.

  • Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients key stakeholders and partners. Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries helping to guide prospects through the sales process.

  • CRM Management:
    Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all interactions with leads and clients in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Track progress followup actions and sales metrics to ensure pipeline health and visibility.

  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the sales marketing and operations teams to align efforts and contribute to the overall sales strategy. Share insights and feedback to help improve lead generation and conversion tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    13 years of experience in middle to large market Commercial Insurance Sales is required.

  • Strong Communication Skills:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with Csuite executives decisionmakers and key stakeholders.

  • SelfMotivated & GoalOriented:
    Proactive highly motivated and resultsdriven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for achieving sales targets.

  • Technical Skills:
    Familiarity with Applied EPIC or CRM software (Salesforce monday etc. Microsoft Office Suite and other sales tools. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Remote Work Competency:
    Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

  • Education:
    A bachelors degree in business marketing real estate or a related field is preferred but not required.

  • Licensing:
    Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.

Compensation: Up to $65k base salary plus commission and bonuses
