The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami and the NCIdesignated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center announce a search for an academic psychiatrist with interest and experience in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Applicants will work collaboratively with fellow psychooncology providers including psychologists psychiatrists oncology social workers and other multidisciplinary members providing oncology services.
Job Function
The candidate will provide psychiatric consultationliaison services across inpatient and outpatient oncology settings. As a faculty member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences the candidate will be expected to participate in psychooncology teaching and training activities. Research opportunities in psychooncology are also available.
Minimum Qualifications
Board certification in Psychiatry
Board eligibility/certification in CL Psychiatry would be preferred but experience will be considered
Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship
Demonstrated record of interest or training in psychooncology preferred.
