SEND Advisory Team Lead

Working 32.5 hours per week
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and solution focused strategic lead within the SEND Advisory Service. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience of leading others in the area of special educational needs. As part of this role you will contribute to the development of SEND across the city as part of the SEND and AP improvement plan with a particular focus on developing and embedding pupil voice across the SEND system.
In addition you will have responsibility for leading and developing the work of the Sensory and Physical Support Team. This is an experienced team that work across the city to support meeting the needs of children with hearing impairment visual impairment or physical needs. Working strategically across the Local Area Partnership will be a key element of your work therefore experience of working with pupils with sensory or physical needs though desirable is not essential.
