As a Music Teacher you will be responsible for delivering highquality music lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will have the opportunity to foster a love of music helping students to develop their technical skills creativity and passion for performance. This role will also involve collaborating with colleagues to maintain a high standard of teaching across the department and supporting extracurricular activities that showcase the musical talents of our students.
Teaching and Delivering Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging music lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 creating an inspiring learning environment for students.
Fostering Musical Development: Encourage students to explore a variety of musical genres and techniques developing their skills in performance composition and theory.
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students progress providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Music Department to share resources ideas and best practices ensuring a consistent and high standard of teaching.
ExtraCurricular Activities: Lead and support musicrelated extracurricular activities such as concerts ensembles and musical performances providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents and further develop their musical skills.
Qualifications: A degree in Music or a related subject along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
Experience: Experience teaching Music at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with a proven ability to engage and inspire students.
Passion for Music: A genuine passion for music and a desire to share this enthusiasm with students helping them develop their skills and creativity.
Collaborative and Enthusiastic: A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to maintaining high standards within the Music Department.
