A progressive Independent School in Barnet is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a permanent fulltime position starting in September. The ideal Art Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop their artistic skills and appreciation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Art Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students for GCSE Art and Design examinations.
- Develop students artistic skills techniques and understanding of different art forms.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing timely and constructive feedback as an Art Teacher.
- Contribute to the development of the art curriculum and extracurricular activities.
- Foster a culture of creativity and artistic expression within the school.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design.
- Proven experience teaching Art at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge of various art mediums and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Art.
