Job Description
Pacifica Hotels is searching for a fulltime House Attendant who will be responsible for the cleaning of all public and common areas of the hotel and assist in housekeeping. The ideal House Attendant will have basic knowledge of plumbing electrical carpentry drywall screening and locks. We are looking for a House Attendant for our property The Wayfarer San Diego.Scheduled shifts will include weekends and evenings.
Ideally located on the sandy shores of Pacific Beach (PB) the fanfavorite Blue Sea Beach Hotel is a refuge from the every day. Perfectly suited for the ultimate laidback vacation be greeted by our bright new beach dcor and indulge with Pacific Beach hotel features and services like our ocean view yearround heated pool and spa onsite bicycle rentals and a central location near the worldfamous Strand perfect for surfing and sunbathing.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Adhere to Pacificas Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
Maintain a friendly cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts.
Run laundry and empty housekeepers trash.
Clean lobby exterior windows hallways walkways railings stairwells pool furniture ice and vending machines.
Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas sand urns exterior light fixtures public benches exterior of guest room doors.
Shampoo carpets as assigned.
Turn mattresses as assigned.
Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned.
Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing carpentry).
Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned requested or deemed necessary by management.

Pay Range: $17.55$18.75/hour
