Overview
The SAP UI5 Fiori with Node.js developer plays a pivotal role in the development of userfriendly scalable and highperformance web applications that leverage SAPs Fiori design principles. This position is essential in bridging the gap between frontend and backend development ensuring seamless integration and groundbreaking user experiences. The developer will be tasked with utilizing their comprehensive knowledge of SAP s UI5 framework along with Node.js to build and enhance applications that cater to the organizations operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications utilizing SAP UI5 technology.
- Implement serverside logic with Node.js to connect with various SAP services.
- Create responsive user interfaces that comply with UI/UX best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git for code versioning and collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance.
- Ensure software development follows Agile methodologies and timelines.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and services.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to SAP UI5 and Node.js.
- Conduct testing and validation of applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers.
- Implement best practices in coding standards and application architecture.
- Engage in regular meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 6 years of professional experience in SAP UI5 and Fiori development.
- Proficient in Node.js and relevant frameworks for backend development.
- Strong command of JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with RESTful services and integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP integration tools and technologies.
- Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced Agile environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in mobilefirst web development practices.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver highquality work under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment techniques.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus.
