Job Description
Looking to serve Jesus this summer but not sure how Join us at Ridgecrest! The Ridgecrest Summer Staff program is designed to give young adults handson experience in the hospitality industry. We offer free housing meals and paid positions for our summer team. Summer Staff can expect to work hard have fun and grow in their relationship with Jesus!
Job Summary
Help create a clean welcoming environment for guests while working alongside a supportive team! Guest Spaces is more than just cleaningits a way to contribute to an awesome guest experience while building relationships and starting your day with prayer and devotion. Choose from three areas:
- Housekeeping: Work with a team to prepare guest accommodations.
- Custodial: Keep public spaces fresh and clean.
- Laundry: Help manage laundry for our entire campusa role thats vital to guest comfort.
Essential Job Duties
- Cleaning heavily used restrooms picking up trash on campus & emptying trash cands.
- Cleaning bathhouses public & office restrooms at Camp Ridgecrest.
- Cleaning public & office restrooms at Camp Crestridge.
- Must be comfortable with cleaning restrooms/bathhouses of the opposite sex (closed during cleaning)
- Must be able to complete a project without constant supervision
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals & materials for a majority of the day.
- Must be able to work with insects/bugs/pests during cleaning
- Must be able to work in an environment that deals with bodily fluids
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift carry pull/push or otherwise move 50 lbs.
- Must be able to perform daily repetitive motions such as: stooping kneeling crouching.
- Must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours
- Must be attentive & able to read chemical safety labels
- Must be able to work in wet humid hot and noisy environments
