Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing behavior of students with social emotional challenges and behavioral challenges including students with autism. School based experience preferred. Ability to assist in providing guidance and oversight of school wide behavioral management system as well as individualized behavior plans.BCBA will support district staff in the collection recording interpretation and monitoring of student behavior and program implementation.BCBA will consult staff for both individual students behavioral needs and districtbased programs.BCBA will complete evaluations assessments FBAs BIPs and preference assessments utilizing a hybrid model as appropriate.*Flexible hybrid work scheduleResponsibilities:1.Develop and supervise the implementation of behavioral intervention plans. 2.Provide and/or facilitate professional development and consultation to staff regarding their response to student behaviors.3.Collect monitor and analyze the data on students for in school discipline time out and restraints.4.Prepare reports and collects data on students behaviors. 5.Report any concerns regarding staffs response to student behavioral issues to the Coordinator/Director.6.Prepare functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) to identify target behaviors antecedents and effective intervention for students.7.Refer behavioral issues of concern to Coordinator/Director.8.Conduct home visits as necessary for home follow through with student behavior as determined by the team process9.Use deescalation and restraint procedures as prescribed in SSEC approved restraint training programs when appropriate with students. 10.Follow protective restraint procedures at all times when working with students as prescribed in SSEC approved restraint training programs. 11.Uses appropriate physical techniques when lifting and/or moving students as prescribed in SSEC approved restraint training programs.12.Consistent work attendance which includes; arriving to work on time each day working the entire day and notifying the program director/coordinator a minimum of 24 hours in advance for a personal day whenever possible. 13.Follows all policies and procedures as established by the South Shore Educational Collaborative.14.Participate in all required inservice training15.Maintain confidentiality regarding information for all SSEC staff students and their families.16.Perform other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the program director/coordinator.Mandatory participation in all of the following SSEC sponsored trainings to include but not limited to:1.Successful completion of SSEC approved restraint trainings full and/or recertification annually as appropriate.2.Maintain active CPR/First Aid certification.3.Successful completion of all SSEC approved threat assessment training.4.
