  1. JOB PURPOSE

(Provide an overview of the job its context in the organization and the contribution that it makes)

To guide other Architects interpret client briefs and review contracts and designs. Should have leadership skills advanced knowledge of BIM / CAD software and the ability to handle all types of feedback.

To be successful as a managing architect should be able to relay important information and Assist the DGM Design and Team in Project Scope creation and Design management.

Within our projects will work closely with clients stakeholders and project teams to understand their needs and to get to the heart of their requirements. Be responsible for developing the right solution not just any solution even if that means trying something new and resisting welltrodden paths.

As Senior Airport Architect are responsible for feasibility studies master plan studies terminal development planning from the initial definition stage to concept planning.

  • A bachelors degree in architecture preferably with strong CAD / BIM software skills
  • Ten years of experience in airport architecture transport infrastructure of buildings of similar functional complexity with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients stakeholders and project teams to achieve the set goals.
  • Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to junior architects and other team members.
  • Review operational commercial and technical aspects and recommendations for improvements of terminal facilities.
  • Undertake demand analysis stakeholder / user requirements functional planning flows and processor design.
  • Manage project budgets schedules and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes materials and construction techniques
  • Experience with AutoCAD SketchUp Revit and other design software
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
  • A passion for creativity digitalization and sustainability.
  • Familiarity with the most current and latest software.
  • High motivation and enthusiasm with an entrepreneurial attitude.
  • A team player with strong communication skills in English & Hindi. Local language an additional skillset.
  • Manage preproject consultancy project definition including requirement analysis concept design preliminary design for terminal buildings and all other ancillary buildings including ATC towers R & FFF cargo facilities and MROs.
  • Elaboration and implementation of new (sustainability/innovation driven) methodologies for airport development decision making.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to junior architects and other team members.
  • Review operational commercial and technical aspects and recommendations for improvements of terminal facilities.
  • Undertake demand analysis stakeholder / user requirements functional planning flows and processor design.
  • Manage project budgets schedules and resources to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and lead the design process for various building types including residential commercial and institutional projects
  • Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project goals timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate with engineers contractors and other stakeholders during the construction process
  • Ensure that all projects meet legal and regulatory requirements
