Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Account Officer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient financial operations contract management and accurate billing processes. This role involves facilitating contract renewals financial administration basic bookkeeping (including familiarity with P&L and Balance Sheets) and overseeing billing systems.
- Facilitate and document contract renewals ensuring all deadlines are met and necessary paperwork is completed.
- Complete morning checks to allocate/action emails prioritize tasks and ensure timely followups.
- Upkeep and update financial documents and templates ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks including invoicing expense tracking financial reporting and maintaining
- P&L statements and Balance Sheets.
- Review verify and process invoices for payment ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain financial records and documents organized ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
- Check billing service boards in ConnectWise oversee ticket management and liaise internally with Tech staff for resolution.
- Prepare and edit financial correspondence reports and presentations.
- Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills Needed:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration Finance Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial administration accounts management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Xero Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and ConnectWise (for billing service board management).
- Familiarity with financial statements including P&L and Balance Sheets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Requirements/Skills needed: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, audit and commercial financial accounting, preferably within a global, publicly listed company. In-depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, tax regulations, and accounting principles. Proven experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar). Strong analytical and technical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication skills and work collaboratively with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders. High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience with external audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
