Job Description
This is a remote position.
Our client a global healthcare company is seeking a skilled SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM Consultant. Main components of this role will be managing the lifecycle of SAP solutions including implementation maintenance and optimization using SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) tools for application lifecycle management (ALM) Change Management and business process monitoring.
This is an immediate placement for the qualified candidate. Working hours are EST.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of SAP solutions including requirements gathering development testing deployment and maintenance.
- Manage changes and releases to SAP systems ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining system stability
- Monitor and optimize SAP business processes identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance.
- Monitor the technical infrastructure of SAP systems including servers databases and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems related to SAP systems and solutions.
- Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager functionalities including ALM ChaRM and business process monitoring.
- Document SAP solutions and processes ensuring clear and comprehensive information for future reference.
- Train users on SAP Solution Manager functionalities and best practices.
- Integrate SAP Solution Manager with other tools and systems such as test automation tools and project management tools.
- Analyze and improve the performance of SAP systems and solutions.

- Conduct deep technology root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
Technical Skills / Responsibilities:
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities including ALM ChaRM and business process monitoring.
- Oversee the entire ChaRM process from initial request to implementation and postrelease monitoring.
- Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager for ChaRM functionalities.
- Ensure adherence to SAP standards and best practices for change management
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Configure Change Request Management as per Customer Transport process
- Manage change requests including prioritization like scheduling Urgent Normal Daily Weekly Monthly release window and tracking in ChaRM Request.
- Customize ChaRM Workflow for Approval setup and documentation as per customer standard.
- Experience in setting up the advisory board meetings and ensuring approvals are obtained in ChaRM Request
- Customize Business Partner roles/category in ChaRM Request
- Configure Change Request management process for Project and Production support release as per customer SOX audit process
- Configure CTS for SAP HANA SAP Cloud platform Environments
- Authorization Concept for ChaRM
- Monitor the production environment postrelease and identify any issues.
- Implement Solution Manager Test Suite and Data Volume Management.
- Experience in configure System Preparation Basic configuration Managed system configuration E2E Analysis
- Configure Technical monitoring Business process monitoring PI Monitoring and BI monitoring.
- Build SAP like a Factory (Technical monitoring)
- Configure ALM Processes
- Configuration of SAP IT Service Management (ServiceNow)
Requirements
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities including ALM ChaRM and business process monitoring.
- Deep understanding / proficiency in SAP technical concepts and technologies.
- Experience with SAP security parameters and compliance requirements.
- Support Clients EST working hours.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cloud ALM functionalities.
Experience with SAP Solution Manager 7.2 functionalities, including ALM, ChaRM, and business process monitoring. Deep understanding / proficiency in SAP technical concepts and technologies. Experience with SAP security parameters and compliance requirements. Support Client's EST working hours. Preferred: Experience with Cloud ALM functionalities.
