Ideal candidates for this role will have prior serving experience preferably in an event or fine dining setting the ability to provide exceptional service the ability to work independently and the ability to problem solve as well as maintain a calm and professional demeanor. This position has the potential to be scheduled between the hours of 6am and 11pm availability for weekends and holidays is required based on the various schedule of events.
Job Summary:
The Banquet Server provides table service to banquet and event patrons by delivering plated dishes from the kitchen to the table serving and removing flatware and dishes appropriately tidying the dining surface and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant dining experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils napkins and other needs have been provided.
Distributes menus and presents the daily specials.
Answers questions regarding the menu.
Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
Delivers food beverages condiments and other requested items to customers.
Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.
Prepares customers checks and collects payments.
Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Wellorganized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
Ability to operate pointofsale systems.
Education and Experience:
Must be at least eighteen years of age.
Previous experience as a server preferred.
Must successfully complete restaurants training course.
Bartender license or certificate may be required depending on state local laws.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
