Job Description
Job Title: Pharma Trainer
Location: Kolkata India
Experience Required: 5 years
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharma Trainer to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of
experience in pharmaceutical training with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry products and sales processes. The Pharma
Trainer will be responsible for designing delivering and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of
pharmaceutical sales teams field representatives and other stakeholders within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver training modules on various aspects of the pharmaceutical industry including product knowledge sales
techniques regulatory compliance industry trends and soft skills.
Conduct onboarding training for new employees ensuring they understand company policies products and processes.
Create and update training materials (presentations manuals elearning modules) to ensure content is relevant accurate and
engaging.
Collaborate with the sales marketing and medical teams to ensure training aligns with company objectives and industry
standards.
Organize and facilitate both inperson and virtual training sessions for various teams.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to track the effectiveness of training programs making improvements as needed.
Provide oneonone coaching to employees helping them apply training in their daytoday roles.
Stay uptodate with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry including new products regulations and sales
techniques.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies during training sessions.
Act as a subject matter expert for the organization in pharmaceutical training and related topics.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy Life Sciences or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in training within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products sales processes and industry regulations.
Proven track record of designing and delivering engaging training programs.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate participants with varying levels of experience.
Strong organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to handle multiple training sessions simultaneously.
Familiarity with elearning tools and technology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel within Kolkata and occasionally to other locations for training sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Training & Development or related fields.
Experience in managing or mentoring a team of trainers.
Knowledge of industryspecific software or tools.
