Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest 100 physicianowned radiology practices in the country. Our practice includes 190 radiologists 40 advanced practice providers and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: ARS provides services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. We are the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigans largest Level I trauma center and research hospital Spectrum Health. In 2022 we read 483171 STAT cases for the Spectrum system and 779650 for all of our other health care systems.


What we are looking for: We are seeking an Emergency Radiologist to join our section of 50 physicians! This position will be a combination of onsite shifts in Grand Rapids and remote shifts from home. We have both first and second shift positions available and have adjusted our onsite hospital shift hours to provide parity with work from home shifts in our schedule. The onsite hours are typically 7 to 3 8 to 4 or 3 to 10. Our standard schedule positions work 39 weeks and 11 weekends and have 13 weeks vacation.


Responsibilities:

Interpret ERcentric US CT MR NM and conventional radiography

Function well in the fastpaced timesensitive emergency setting

Provide exceptional service to referring physicians and patients

Compensation/Benefits: We offer a $50K recruitment incentive (sign on bonus) competitive compensation plan stipends for onsite shifts and opportunities for additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan $70000 in 2025. We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and we have a brand new 6week paid parental leave benefit!

Requirements
  • Must have a demonstrated career interest in Emergency Radiology
  • Possess strong clinical skills in all modalities and organ systems
  • Certified by the ABR or AOBR
  • Completion of an emergency radiology fellowship or demonstrated experience in ER setting
