JOB OVERVIEW
Job Title: Physician Emergency Medicine
Job Type: Locum Tenens
Location: Horizon City TX
Service Setting: Inpatient Emergency Room
Schedule: August 1 2 16 and:00 PM 7:00 AM
Start Date: August 1 2025
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Rate: TBD
Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance - Covered
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Accepted Specialties: Emergency Medicine (ABEM FP or IM)
Licensure: Texas License and DEA required to start
Certifications: ABEM or AOBEM; ACLS ATLS and PALS if not EM Boarded
Experience: Must be board certified or board eligible within 7 years of residency completion
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency medical care at the assigned facility
Work a flexible schedule across day evening and night shifts
Collaborate with APPs and other staff to provide timely and high-quality emergency services
Maintain documentation within Epic EMR system
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and emergency medicine standards
