Job Description
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced D365 Finance and Operations (Fin Ops) Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations exceptional technical and functional expertise and a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex ERP solutions. The Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the architecture design and implementation of D365 Fin Ops solutions to meet the strategic and operational needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of D365 Fin Ops solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation including solution design integration plans and data migration strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams ensuring successful delivery of D365 Fin Ops projects.
- Conduct solution assessments gap analysis and feasibility studies to identify optimal solutions.
- Oversee the configuration customization and deployment of D365 Fin Ops modules ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends advancements in D365 Fin Ops and emerging technologies to continuously improve solutions.
- Provide training and support to endusers ensuring successful adoption and utilization of the D365 Fin Ops system.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations including implementation customization and integration.
- Strong knowledge of D365 Fin Ops architecture modules and functionalities.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as X C# and .NET framework.
- Experience with data migration ETL processes and integration tools such as Azure Logic Apps Power Automate and Data Management Framework (DMF).
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts particularly Microsoft Azure services.
- Functional Expertise:
- Deep understanding of financial and operational processes including General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets Procurement and Sourcing and Inventory Management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
- Experience with process mapping business process reengineering and change management.
- Project Management:
- Proven track record of successfully delivering D365 Fin Ops projects on time and within budget.
- Strong project management skills including planning and risk management.
- Ability to lead and mentor project teams fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex technical and functional issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think critically and strategically.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients stakeholders and team members at all levels.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert certification preferred.
- Experience in working with global implementations and multinational organizations is a plus.
