Job Description
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for the following lead teacher position for summer school programming:
- K8 Summer School Counselor
The District seeks dynamic energetic educators who are studentfocused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of K8 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and possess various professional experiences.
CHAMPs Camp School Counselor
- Expected Dates: July 7 2025 July 31 2025 plus preplanning and training
- Job Duties: Planning organizing and instructing students in socioemotional learning; small group and other duties supporting the whole child.
- Certification: K12 Counselor; social worker; and/or eligibility for emergency certification; counseling/social work experience is required.
