We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a professional experienced Englishspeaking nanny to join a warm and welcoming family in San Francisco. This is a Rota position 1 week on / 1 week off) requiring the candidate to live locally. The role focuses on caring for their 2.5yearold toddler with future responsibility for their newborn who is currently under the care of a newborn specialist. The nanny must be fluent in English and have the right to work in the USA as visa sponsorship is NOT available.
This wonderful family values structure discipline and a nurturing approach to childcare. Both parents work fulltime meaning the nanny will have sole charge during the day while evenings will be a mix of sole charge and shared care. The family rarely travels outside the USA so travel is not a key requirement for this role.
The nanny will be responsible for providing attentive and structured care for the toddler encouraging their independence and development through educational activities. In the future responsibilities will extend to the newborn once they transition from the newborn specialist. The ideal candidate will be kind confident in discipline and setting boundaries while maintaining a patient and loving approach. Daily duties will include organizing ageappropriate activities preparing nutritious meals and ensuring a healthy routine. Nurseryrelated tasks such as the childs laundry tidying play areas and packing for outings will also be expected. The nanny must be proactive reliable and capable of handling a structured childcare role independently.
This position follows a 1 week on / 1 week off Rota schedule meaning the nanny must live locally for easy transitions. During working weeks the nanny will provide fulltime care in a sole charge capacity with evenings being a mix of sole charge and shared care. As the family does not travel frequently travel responsibilities will be minimal. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience ideally in a previous Rota role or a structured childcare setting. A fluent English speaker with a US work permit is essential.
