The Franchise Management Group of Companies (FMI) is one of the largest franchise owner/operators in North America with over 400 locations. We own numerous franchised restaurants operating under the Pizza Hut KFC Taco Bell Burger King and Panera Bread brands. With approximately 7300 employees FMI is an aggressively growing bestinclass organization with our Business Support Centre located in Woodstock New Brunswick.
We are looking for someone who lives by our corporate values of Heart Integrity and Drive. The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk is responsible for recording invoices processing payments reconciling statements and setting up new vendor accounts for their assigned companies. This role involves communication and followup with operational managers department managers and external vendors on a regular basis.

- Working with OnePay software for invoice processing.
- Recording invoices in Sage 300.
- Importing invoices and reconciling payments for food vendors on a weekly basis.
- Processing payments weekly by cheque EFT auto debit and online.
- Reconciling vendor statements.
- Setting up new accounts with vendors which is most often done for acquisitions store relocations and new store construction.
- Closing vendor accounts as needed for store closures.
- Providing invoice copies to other departments and to Operations as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Accounting diploma business degree or a minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid knowledge of the Accounts Payable role in a business.
- Strong knowledge and capabilities in spreadsheets.
- Good at problem solving.
- Strong communication skills.
