QUALIFICATIONS: 1.School Psychology Certification according to the requirements as defined by the New Hampshire Department of Education;2.Minimum of five years of experience as a school psychologist preferred;3.Masters Degree in School Psychology required; NCSP certification preferred;4.Knowledge of assessment instruments and their application;5.Knowledge of relevant State Education Codes and District rules regulations and policies;6.Ability to apply assessment instruments and interpret test data;7.Ability to complete a case study and develop an individual education plan;8.Ability to work independently;9.Ability to be flexible and work under time constraints;10.Ability to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources evaluate and make recommendations;11.Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments demonstrate selfdiscipline and initiative and follow stats and district guidelines;12.Ability to provide appropriate educational environment and experiences based on developmental needs of students behavior management techniques; current knowledge of educational trends methods research and technology;13.Demonstrated ability to deliver appropriate instructional strategies in the classroom; ability to analyze student performance data; skill in analyzing diagnosing and evaluating; knowledge of varied learning styles.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:1.Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time2.Sufficient vision to read printed material3.Sufficient hearing to conduct in person and telephone conversations.4.Understandable voice with sufficient volume and clarity to be heard in normalconversations.5.Sufficient dexterity to write use telephone and office equipment.6.Sufficient mobility to move about the District and drive a vehicle.7.Physical mental and emotional stamina to endure long hours under sometimes stressful conditions.
