Job Description

The Sr. Director Transformation Management Office is responsible for all aspects of strategy development and for Fortune Brands Innovations companywide transformation. This position will serve as a change management champion and a strategic thought leader working closely with senior leaders and the Transformation Management Office to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned to enable the of our transformation goals and strategy. The Sr. Director Transformation Office will help drive speed and agility in decision making remove barriers to progress and accelerate stronger integration across business units and functions. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBITIES: 

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for the future aligning transformation initiatives with longterm business goals.
  • Develop and manage to a transformation roadmap ensuring achievement of shortterm project milestones and longterm goals within specified timeline.
  • Analyze complex data and trends to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Solve problems and overcome obstacles with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • Provide guidance to the business teams on certain transformation initiatives and take the lead in others. Scope plan and structure the work and gain alignment with the business unit leaders on timeline and implications.
  • Lead and manage change with a focus on achieving sustainable results understanding unique business unit needs
  • Prepare and present for approval and funding development initiative proposals to senior management.
  • Provide oversight and direction of staff within the Transformation Office including coaching mentoring and developing staff and proving career development planning and opportunities.

Qualifications :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in corporate strategy and/or management consulting.
  • Experience leading large crossfunctional transformations required.
  • Experience in working in Agile organizations preferred.

  • Highly developed people leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team leadership capabilities and communications skills; an ability to work with and influence a variety of different positions within an organization.
  • Strong financial acumen broad business skill set and strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member under deadline pressures; set priorities; multitask and respond to changing demands from multiple sources.
  • Ability to structure a problem and lead complicated quantitative analysis.
  • Strong financial acumen business judgement and strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate and present at all levels with clarity and precision.
  • Robust analytical quantitative and problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills with a deadline driven focus. 
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity attention to detail critical and independent thinking skills and motivation to learn.
  • Highly articulate and has the ability to communicate effectively with various levels in an organization including senior leaders. 
  • High degree of Excel PowerPoint and Word skills


Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $150000 USD $263000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
